15418536_1627246897301156_7434073927839111801_oIn November of 1937, the Frostburg Fire Department, No. 1, entered into an agreement with the Amateur Services Production Co. to produce a movie picture as a fund raiser. Pre sold tickets were 25 cents and 35 cents at the door.

On March 29th & 30th 1938, the Palace Theatre ran the film, “See Your Town and Yourselves in Moving Pictures.” $188.50 was raised for the FFD and the Palace Theatre donated an additional $50.00 to the cause.
The FFD again, reintroduced the videos at our 2015 event where we welcomed home our 1880’s era hand reel and 1887 bell after they were restored.

These wonderful historic videos (four parts totaling approximately 45 minutes) have been combined onto one DVD and make great stocking stuffers!

$10.00 each or 4 for $35.00. Interested parties my contact the FFD at frostburgfd@frostburgfd.com to ascertain when they can be purchased at the firehouse. Limited supplies, so hurry.

Happy holidays and stay safe!
