City of Frostburg-

Due to the extreme draws of water from the fire hydrants in the business district, City water customers may experience discolored water for the next 24 hours, however, the water remains safe to drink.

Peak flows at times today were in excess of 5 million gallons per day, whereas average draws are typically 1 million gallons per day.

Our thoughts are with the families and businesses displaced by the fire.
