ON THIS DAY IN FFD HISTORY.

On the morning of January 17th, 1992, Lt. DeVault, along with Firefighter Buzz Davis entered a burning apartment on Stoyer Street without a charged hose line and rescued 21 year old FSU student, David Pear, Jr. David spent many weeks at the Francis Scott Key Burn Center in Baltimore but made a full recovery. If not for the immediate actions of Kip and Buzz, Mr. Pear would surely have died.

Great work men!
