The Purchase of Engine 161

It is finally happening after four years of research and design and your financial support, we are replacing our 1988 Pumper with a new, upgraded Engine; but we’re not there yet. Please continue to support the new engine fund with your tax-deductible donation, which helps us protect life, property and the environment in your community!

The old unit served us well for 30 years, but maintenance has become too costly to serve the community any longer. This new unit will help us continue the high level of service you have come to expect from your FFD volunteers. The new engine is a 2019 Pierce Enforcer, that seats up to eight emergency responders.

The cost of this unit is about $590,000! In addition to apparatus payments, your contribution helps us with essential tools and appliances
