Congratulations to the Mountain Ridge "Unified" Track Team, who took 2nd place in the State Championships. Upon their arrival, the FFD, along with FPD met the team buses at the high school and escorted the carivan through town to The Freeze and back to the school. Congrats!Continue Reading -
Length of Service Anniversary

Please help us congratulate FFD member Bruce Smith on his "Length of Service" anniversary. Bruce joined this great organization on May 13, 1975 and throughout the years, provided dedicated service and leadership as both Administrative & Line officer. Bruce is celebrating 40 years of service. He was elected Head Trustee and served on numerous committees during his tenure. Bruce received the “Firemen of the Year” award in 1988.Over the years, Bruce has performed tens of thousands of man hours of training and service in an effort to continue the rich traditions of the FFD.
On behalf of the entire Department and the citizens of Frostburg and surrounding areas, THANK YOU and happy anniversary!!
