Firefighter’s Competition on Tilghman Island

Tilghman_Island_Firefighter_Competition

Congratulations to the eight members of the FFD who competed in today’s Firefighter’s Competition on Tilghman Island.  Each member demonstrated the skills brought about by FFD’s commitment to excellence, and both teams are bringing back trophies to prove it!

1st Place Overall Time, 2nd Place Overall Time, 1st Place On Scene Skills, 3rd Place On Scene Skills.

Team 1: Brooks Harrison, Jake Logsdon, Mack Schwartz, Engineer Rich Atkinson
Team 2: Joe Hoffman, Connor Woodring, Enrique Robison, Daniel Gomer, Engineer Rich Atkinson

Great Job to Team 1 for a super clean second run that sealed the deal.

Also, a huge thank you to the Tilghman Island VFD for lending us an Engine, to FFD F/F Brooks Harrison for inviting the us to his home department to participate, and a bigger thank you to his family at Harrison’s Chesapeake House for taking us in, filling us up, and for being wonderful hosts!
