11214024_1204575426234974_4718595455631541899_nFor the last three years we have decided not to post anything on 9/11 out of respect to the fallen 343 and other innocent lives lost that terrible day. Because of that, Joe “Hollywood” Persichetti, whose “Length of Service” anniversary is today, always gets short changed and gets his announcement a day late. Of course Joe is okay with it but since he is a senior at FSU and this will be his last post since he’ll be graduating, we are posting a very early!

So please help us congratulate him.

Joe joined this great organization on September 11th of 2012 and has certainly proved that he has what it takes to be a member of the FFD brotherhood while continuing our rich traditions. Joe is also a firefighter in his hometown department in Pennsylvania; South Baldwin Volunteer Fire Company

Hollywood is part of the FFD “Live-In” program residing in the squirrel den next door to the Price Station fire house. He has become an important part of the FFD family and will be missed come December.

On behalf of the entire Department and the citizens of Frostburg and surrounding areas, THANK YOU and happy 3rd anniversary!!
