SEASON’S WORST STORM BLASTS TRI-STATE AREA
Stranded Travelers Aided By FiremenThe Frostburg and Grantsville fire departments played host to over a hundred travelers who were stopped in that town yesterday because U.S. Route 40 was blocked at Long Stretch.
The Frostburg Fire Hall was made comfortable for about 75 persons as the firemen treated them to food, color television, pool games and cards.The Allegany County Chapter of the American Red Cross delivered 10 cots with sheets and blankets for their nights sojourn.
