Please help us congratulate JB Hovatter on his "Length of Service" anniversary.Jay joined this great organization on this date in 1989 and throughout the years, provided dedicated service and leadership as both a Line and Administrative officer including Deputy Fire Chief and in his current role as FFIII/Captain. He has been the Fire Prevention Chairman for 14+ years, which is a year-round responsibility to include FSU campus and school visits, annual fishing rodeo and numerous other safety and fire prevention events.
Currently, Jay serves as the Chairman of the Apparatus Research Committee (ARC), assists with department training and is an instructor with the Maryland Fire Rescue Institute (MFRI). All this while serving as a Lieutenant with the Anne Arundel County Fire Department
