Firefighter’s Competition on Tilghman Island

Congratulations to the eight members of the FFD who competed in today's Firefighter's Competition on Tilghman Island.  Each member demonstrated the skills brought about by FFD's commitment to excellence, and both teams are bringing back trophies to prove it!

1st Place Overall Time, 2nd Place Overall Time, 1st Place On Scene Skills, 3rd Place On Scene Skills.

Length of Service Anniversary

For the last three years we have decided not to post anything on 9/11 out of respect to the fallen 343 and other innocent lives lost that terrible day. Because of that, Joe "Hollywood" Persichetti, whose "Length of Service" anniversary is today, always gets short changed and gets his announcement a day late. Of course Joe is okay with it but since he is a senior at FSU and this will be his last post since he’ll be graduating, we are posting a very early!

So please help us congratulate him.

Joe joined this great organization on September 11th of 2012 and has certainly proved that he has what it takes to be a member of the FFD brotherhood while continuing our rich traditions. Joe is also a firefighter in his hometown department in Pennsylvania; South Baldwin Volunteer Fire Company
